HOW TO SEARCH FOR JOB OFFERS AT ASDA?

Asda’s career website has been set up so it’s extremely easy to navigate and it should take you no time at all to find some vacancies that look appealing to you.

At the time of writing, there are a whopping 1249 openings being advertised on the Asda careers job search.

This gives you a lot of choices so whatever your background or area of speciality, you’re going to find something that suits your skillset

You may not want to look through this many vacancies, which is perfectly reasonable!

Luckily, Asda has incorporated a number of search tools that allow you to whittle down the suggestions to just the most suitable ones.

First of all, you can search by a specific search term such as job title, skill or keyword.

If you have something specific in mind then type it in here, hit search and you’ll get a specified set of results.

You are also able to search by location in the search bar below if you only want to see options close to where you live or perhaps somewhere you are relocating to

If you click Refine Search you are able to bring up some more tools that allow you to look at options that may suit you best without having to be too specific.

The first of these is the job category filter if you are looking to fit into a specific role

You can also search by job type and employment type and contract type if you need a certain type of job.

Once you’ve refined the search as you see fit, you can scroll through the available options. When a vacancy catches your eyes, click on its title.

This will take you to the job page where you can read more about the job including information such as hours per week and pay rate.

If you scroll down there is a green Apply Now button. Click on it

You can now either sign up with an account from another site such as Facebook or Google, or use your own email

Once this is completed you will need to fill out the provided form and upload your CV.

Lastly, you’ll be required to answer some role-related questions if you’ve applied for a more senior role.

Once this is done, you can send off the application.

HOW DO I KNOW IF I HAVE BEEN SELECTED?

Asda will send an email your way if you’ve been selected to progress to the interview stage.

Make sure you check your email often and respond to them promptly.

Turn on your notifications if you’ve supplied an email address that you don’t regularly use.

And remember, you can always send off another application if you don’t get the response you want from your first.

Now you’ve made an account, it’ll be even quicker next time.

So what are you waiting for? It really is that simple!

Good luck!
