It is Europe’s market leader for parcel services and its operation stretches across the globe.

It started with founder Larry Hillblom running Currier duties between two airports and grew into the global brand that it is today, with a total revenue of €81.7 billion in 2021.

Whilst it started off small, an operation of this size can’t operate without a team of enthusiastic and happy employees who drive the company forward every day and play a crucial role in keeping the world taking over.

Currently, the company employs over 400,000 people worldwide, and with this sort of number, there are always going to be opportunities popping up.

Luckily, a good amount of these opportunities are in the United Kingdom.

A company with the logistics capability of DHL doesn’t get so far without knowing how to make things easy for people.

How to search for job offers at DHL?

The company’s career website is extremely easy to use.

This is especially important since there is such a wide range of vacancies in the United Kingdom on the website.

At the time of writing, there are over 200 jobs available!

Luckily, you don’t have to trawl through every single one of these to find the right fit for you.

DHL has incorporated numerous tools that let you pick out the vacancies that are right for you easily.

If you know specifically what it is you want then the search tool at the top lets you type in a keyword or specific position they are looking for.

This is best if you already have a certain role in mind.

Chances are, however, that you’re on the website for a more general look, and there are tools to help with this too.

There are numerous filters that should help you whittle down the options without having to know exactly what it is you want.

One of the most useful of these is the category filter which lets you choose what area of the company would see you best.

There is also a career level filter.

If you are aware of what sort of level you would realistically be entering the company at then this is where you can choose a rung on the ladder that is right for you.

It’s also possible to choose by business unit, which is similar in many ways to the category filter, although most jobs are currently found in the “supply chain” business unit.

It’s also possible to just see vacancies by contract type and whether they are full-time or part-time.

If there is a certain work-life that you are looking for then these will prevent you from having to look at unrealistic vacancies.

Once you see something that you like click on its title. This will take you to a page with an “apply for this job” button.

This will take you onto a series of questions that ensure you are legally fit for the job and give the company an idea about who you are.

At the end of these, you will have the opportunity to either upload your CV or input your relevant qualifications and experience.

Once this is done you can submit your application, and now all you have to do is wait

How do I know if I have been selected?

DHL will send you an email if your application was successful.

It will contain instructions about how to arrange an interview with them, so make sure you supplied them with an email address that you check regularly.

And if you don’t get the answer you want from the first application that’s sent off, don’t worry!

As you’ve just seen here the process is extremely simple and it will take you no time at all to have a pop at another vacancy.

So what are you waiting for!
